A community program organized by a group of third year students of Cell and Molecular Biology program was held on 8 November 2019 at SMK Jalan 3, Bandar Baru Bangi, the adopted school of Cell and Molecular Biology Department. The program is part of a Service Learning in Cell and Molecular Biology (BSM4904) course coordinated by Dr Noor Baity Saidi and funded by 'Geran Insentif Penyelidikan untuk Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran' (GIPP) led by her. This program was held in collaboration with two other courses taught Dr Mariatulqabtiah Abdul Razak, which are Cell and Molecular Immunology (BSM3402) and Applied Molecular Genetics (BSM4201), with a theme 'Awareness of Common Diseases in Malaysia'. The objective of the program is to provide awareness on common ailments in Malaysia related to the immune response in the human body and ways to prevent them.
