VISITATION OF SMK BANDAR BARU SALAK TINGGI AND SMK KOMPLEKS KLIA TO THE FACULTY OF BIOTECHNOLOGY AND BIOMOLECULAR SCIENCES

UPM: A total of 50 students and two instructors from SMK Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and SMK Kompleks KLIA have paid a visit to the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences.
The purpose of the visit was to get in depth information for the undergraduate programmes offerred by Faculty, as well as the learning processes practice in faculty. The job opportunities after pursuing Bachelor Science Honours in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Microbiology were also explained to the students. The briefing was delivered by Dr. Ahmad Muhaimin Roslan after the welcoming remarks of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Foo Hooi Ling. The question and answer session was assisted by Dr. Zetty Norhana Balia Yusof, Dr. Lai Kok Song, Dr. Murni Halim and Dr. Fadzlie Wong Faizal Wong
The students were then visited the practical classes of undergraduates after the program briefing session. Dr. Asilah Ahmad Tajudin and Dr. Fairolniza Mohd. Shariff expalined to the student for the practical classes conducted during the student visit.
The student were also paid a visit to Biorefinery Complex @ UPM to have further experience on advance experiment of pilot scale conducted by the postgraduate students at the complex.
